Outlook/Office 365 crashing, unable to open files

On a regular basis Outlook 355 crashes giving me the error "The file C:\Users\Msrad\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\AAAA@Outlook.com.ost cannot be opened" with the AAAA being my actual email address. When this happens the same thing happens for all 5 email addresses I have installed in Outlook. I've done a complete reinstallation etc. and the problem is still there. I'm not having a problem with any other up with programs or any other programs at all for that matter. The machine has a 11th generations i7 processor, 32 GB of RAM, 2 SSD's etc. and I'm running Windows 10x64 Pro build 19044.1949 with all the latest updates on all drivers etc.

Any idea what's causing these crashes? I can either reboot and it comes back up fine again or I can do a repair through "Settings" to get it operational again.

It sounds, to me, as though your 'mail profile' might be corrupt. I am not sure though.
The problem survived reinstallation because the mail profile is a Windows component rather than an Office one.

I have never had to deal with a corrupted mail profile but I'd use the advice in
    Adding-Recreating a Mail Profile - HowTo-Outlook
    if it happened to me.

You might also want to search the forum for mail profile or Outlook crash to get further guidance.
    Advanced Search - TenForums
    - There are, for example, some interesting comments in this thread -
    - And it's possible that a corrupted mail profile was responsible for this only-partially-resolved incident -

    Best of luck,

I just got done creating a new profile so I'll have to see how it runs before making a final commitment but so far so good!

I'll keep my fingers crossed as well.

As soon as you're confident that the problem has been fixed, you can make a new system image.

Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. It may be a little better maybe not but it's definitely still here. I've done a complete reinstall, created a new profile and actually even did it in place reinstall of Windows 10 and it still is here, I'm not sure what to try next.

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

Have you tried to repair the ost file? I am not hopeful since the problem is reported as not being able to open it rather than finding problems within it.

Yes I tried that and I actually blew them all away and let the system generate new ones!

    Try compacting your data file.

    See:

Reduce the size of your mailbox and Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost)

    Also see:

I'm not expert on this but you can try these two suggestions.
