    Cheapest iPad for OneNote 2013?

My iPad 2 is not compatible with OneNote 2013. I'm looking for a 10 inch tablet. Suggestions?

I'm willing to try out Android too so long as it also runs VLC with mp3 and mp4; and ibooks ie. pdf and epub.

My ideal would be a tablet that runs Windows 10 that is capable of running Windows Remote Desktop also.

I'm currently using the iPad 2 with Windows Pro 64-bit.

    Budget is about U$500.

    Thank you.

    1. Both Apple iPads and Android ~10" tablets have apps for VLC; VLC will play both MP3 and MP4 media files.

    2. Both Apple iPads and Android ~10" tablets will display ebooks in PDF and EPUB formats.

    3. Neither an iPad nor Android tablet will run Windows 10.

    4. You can use the Microsoft Remote Desktop for iOS app (or TeamViewer) to connect to a remote Windows PC from an Apple tablet.

    5. You can use the Remote Desktop client for Android app (or TeamViewer) to connect to a remote Windows PC from an Android tablet.

    6. I don't know of any 'name brand' new tablets that comes with/run Windows 10 for $500 or less. It's just not a price point compatible with quality.

    Hope this helps...

What is a reasonable price point for a Windows based tablet?

Also, will any that you indicated run OneNote 2013 or a later version that plays nice with Office 2013?

I have no idea. I live in the UK and don't know what's available where you are. You have retail stores like 'Best Buy' which just don't exist this side of the pond.

However a Google search brought up this US-centric article - The Best Windows Tablets for 2022 - which suggests a couple that are close to $500. Both should run OneNote 2013/Office 2013 with ease.

    Hope this helps...

Cheap tablets that run Windows are not really worth the money as they have limited storage and RAM and are difficult to update.

Your money is better spent on a small notebook (mini laptop).
