Co-existence of MS Office and 365

I have MS Office Pro Plus 2013 on my PC and have also recently installed Office 365. They seem to be able to coexist on the same PC but I am wondering whether there are any hidden problems.
    Thanks
    Dave

Just my opinion, but Microsoft wants everyone on Office 365. It's their cash cow, so to speak.
If we let them get away with a subscription service program like Office 365... then they'll go wild with other needed programs.

Sort of like the gaming industry with DLC or pay to play.

The price keeps changing, first $49.99, then $39.99 and now $59.99.... but unlike Office 365, it's a lifetime license.

I don't disagree but Adobe was a pioneer in that regard.

See my link in post #2. This deal has been floating around for about 4-5 months now.
No bad reports so far, and many have gone with Office 2021

Amazon in UK has it at £20. Not Amazon itself.

If it's a lifetime license I would seriously consider it.

    Dave,

You can find that adding some functions in files with Office 365 will cause problems when trying to work on those files in Office 2013.
    - I experimented with this several years ago [Office 2016] and the examples that spring to mind were all related to graphical elements in Access and possibly in Word & Excel too.

I think it would be much more helpful of me to challenge you though.
    - Why do you want both Versions installed at the same time?
    - Why not just Office 365?
    - Why do you want to retain Office 2013?
    - What would you see as the benefit of following Ghot's suggestion of installing Office 2021?
I'm not trying to suggest that your decision is poor. I still use Office 2007 and intend to keep doing so because I do not like some of the user interface changes.

I have installed Office Pro 2021 on one computer [using the offer that Ghot mentioned] just to be able to run some experiments. It is not my main computer and, if I ever start to use it for my day-to-day tasks, Office 2021 will come off it so I have no impediments to Office 2007 use.

    All the best,
    Denis

    Dave,

Naturally, it's up to you but that Amazon product page has only 23 reviews and Which magazine said a while ago that 'review brokers' often put up to a hundred fake reviews on their client's Amazon product pages. So you cannot rely on its user reviews without studying each one to decide if it's genuine.
That seller has had 11% poor reviews in the last month.
The seller responded to one review with a very snide remark. I would not touch them with a bargepole.
