Because of recent GMail changes I had to upgrade from office 2010 to 2019. However, my old eyes can't see the icons.
Anyway to restore the 2010 icons for Word, Excel etc... documents? I use the list view and honestly can't tell an ecel document from word from publisher?

You should be able to create your own shortcuts.
Having done so, you can assign your own icons to those.
Your link looks like it's for the application, I was hoping to change the icon of the documents. I found the attached image and wished I could have my documents look like the 2010 version.
Thanks, now all I have to do is find the icons??? All the ones I find are either .jpg or .png but it looks like they want .exe or .ico.
Google and ingenuity are called for.
