    Office 2013 not working

Hi all, I just switched from my old desktop to my laptop. the desktop is toast. so i am setting thing up and installed office 2013 on it. install went fine, but when i open any of the programs it shows me the enclosed popup. when i click on accept, it stays for a second, then the program closes completely. so i can't use it. what would do that and how can i fix this?

I also clicked on View Agreement" and the same happens.
Then i clicked on "learn more" and it opened a new popup informing me that updates are automatic, and can be turned on or off. what if this is turned off, i will never get there to change it

Q's- Is this a retail copy of Office, did you deactivate license on desktop, what did you use for installation files? Did the laptop EVER have Office 2013 on it.
