Office365 Outlook for work email change signature how ?

    Dear folk
I posted this question on other forum but still no reply

My work domain email is using Office 365 ,,,,I changed my mobile number ,,,,when I
signed to Outlook on the web--> Go to Settings. > View all Outlook settings >
Compose and reply --> Under Email signature, but I can't see any signature.
But when I send an email from my work email to my private email signature is there
Is there any other way to access the signature ? is it disabled by admin ?
    Thx

Yes, system admin can disable the change of signature..

Here is a brief description of registry entry (set by policy editor), which can be changed.

Be careful... backup (the registry and system)

    Thx AndreTen

Registry editing in the link that you posted I would except that to change the outlook mail client on my work laptop not on the server side wouldn't it ?

Means if I send an email from work Outlook web I still see the signature that set by admin ,,,,but that signature in not visible to me when I access my outlook web --> Settings --> Compose and Reply --> I can't see the signature that was sent by admin

Web settings are connected to your local settings in the case of enterprise account. When you first started Office (Outlook) you've confirmed that your business site can manage your account - or just the app settings (hope you selected this option).

Exchange accounts can manage your computer - so, web options and local options are in fact the same. But, since I'm not an admin.. I'm not sure up to which extend can you really manage your account (your admin gives the rights...). because, I can set my signature on the web, or in my Outlook app. They are synced.

So, do you have any signature setting in the registry?

Just bear in mind that many organisations, especially Government ones, have extremely strict policies with regard to signatures and system administrators need to exercise firm control, disallowing any personalisation.

Like Christophe said above.. If your organization has a strict sig policy, you're probably out of luck.

Use your personal email for personal messages. Or send your admin a request, if you want your business sig changed.

    Hi again @zillah

I've just thought about your problem a bit more and may have a workaround for you. See what you think.

Without knowing your exact circumstances, if the machine that you are using is your own property, it is not unreasonable for me to assume that your instance of Outlook is also your own property, in which case there is an alternative solution to your problem that you will be able to implement.

Based on the premise that any organisation to which you belong controls the email account and settings permissible that you use for the purposes of conducting their business, there is nothing to prevent you from creating a new personal account in Outlook, however based, and then altering the settings of that to your heart's content, adding any signature you like.

If this is not the case, and you are still unable for any reason to do this, please say, as this indicates another problem entirely that needs resolving. That being so, we will be able to narrow this down even further systematically through a process of elimination.

    Please advise.

    Kind regards,

    Christophe

Alas, I just realised that you are using 365 web version and not stand-alone Outlook, so you may be thwarted here and not have a viable route forward to achieve what you seek to implement.

I apologise for this oversight, and wish you well in setting things up the way that you want them to be if able to at all.

Meanwhile, what @AndreTen said...best contact your systems administrator and see if they can hook you up.
