    Window reinstall and Office 2019

I'm about to do a clean reinstall Windows 10 on a computer that has Office 2019 installed. Is there anything I need to do prior to the Windows reinstall to allow Office 2019 to be activated again?

I doubt it matters, but this is Win 10 21H1 build 19043.1415.

    go to https://account.microsoft.com

From there you can find your office account and de-activate on a particular system. That will free the activation for you. Note that you can do this either before or after you reinstall Windows.

I reinstall on some machines fairly frequently. For me, personally, I like how easy Microsoft has made this process.

If you didn't change hardware, and install on the same PC, it will activate with no issues.

I was hoping that would be the case. Thank you for confirming it. Same PC; no hardware changes (this time). This is the first clean reinstall since I got the PC in 2010. Every single piece of hardware has been replaced or upgraded but I've never done a clean reinstall on this PC or its previous incarnations. I guess it's a bit overdue.
