    Office Service Pak 3

How do I ask Microsoft to stop sending me updates for my Office Service Pak 3? I've looked every where and couldn't find it.
    Thanks

The one I'm using is XP Office Suite. According to Excel 2002. But does this really make a differences? How do I keep Microsoft from sending me updates for it when all it's going to do is error out on me, and screw up my suite?
    Thanks

Okay, wish you had told me where to go, but it's under settings then advanced options and it's the first one entitle "Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows" turn it off. But it's done.
    Thanks

    Dan,

Whenever you see words with the slightly coloured & emboldened appearance Bree used, they form a hyperlink.
If you hover your cursor over those words your browser should show you where the link would take you [in this case, to a TenForumsTutorial],
so, once you've decided to go, you can click on the words and are taken there [in this case, to instructions for turning off Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows].

That slightly coloured & emboldened appearance is used all over this forum for hyperlinks.
Many other websites show hyperlinks in their default appearance as underlined blue text. You can also deliberately set a different default appearance in browser settings but I've never bothered and websites can override your choice [as this one does]. I haven't done that since IE & have not bothered to find out where that setting is in later browsers..

    All the best,
    Denis
