Taming (Subscribed) Office-365 for full functionality
Hello all @Brink
I hope to receive some much needed assistance from this esteemed community to resolve the following issue that I am experiencing:
Windows Version: 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1387)
I am a regular paid monthly subscriber to MS Office-365 needing full functionality so that I have access to all that non-365 MS Office offers, yet I am confounded by the Diagnostics & feedback settings requirements for some basic functions to be available, specifically Help content, for merely one instance of what is denied. Another includes being able to change auto-save from the default 10 minutes to my preferred 2 minutes. Also the usual 'Saved' confirmation no longer appears when I press Ctrl+S or use the icon. There must be many more denied functions that I have yet to encounter through further usage. I dread it.
When trying to invoke Help I get this message:
I have been right around the houses digging into this issue, including logging in to my Microsoft Account, and trawling through Search results here for solutions that work, Googling, etc., but none have resolved this issue as yet. Hence this 'new' post, in case there are current windows version specific issues that have changed since the older posts on this topic were made. (See above for my Windows version)
I have long been aware that this issue has to do with Diagnostics & feedback settings, and mine show as follows:
However, I have been unable to change these using the file:from this site to alter the appropriate Registry entry, despite a subsequent reboot, and also despite attempting the same logging in as Administrator enabled after using:Code:Send_required_diagnostic_data.regI realise that I unintentionally denied myself these functions in the stringent privacy settings that I chose during Windows Setup for 10 Home. Now I need to backtrack a little if possible. I'd like to find the balance between decent privacy and obtaining full functionality within Office-365.Code:C:\WINDOWS\system32>net user administrator /active:yes
I must be missing something but now need to ask this community for help please, for which my thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
