Uninstall Microsoft office 2019

Ok, you're all good, but you have to play the game here...

Call back the phone number in post #7, and listen to the welcome prompt then it will ask you what product you want to activate... answer "Office" then follow each prompt to get to the activation mode you want.

It is a bothering process... But it will last only a few minutes and you will be clear of it.

"I prefer by Phone" it takes a little bit longer but it will get you done.

Speaking with a real person at MS at the moment and they will redirect you to the "automated process" to activate your product.

I got a live person at Microsoft and they told me that I have to purchase a new version. They do not un-activate Office any more.

Check in your online Microsoft account for your office license, if you find it, check if there is a way to release it.

At this point if you can't find anyway to release your office activation.

I would call that "a racket".

What happens if you try to thoroughly complete phone activation ?

The automated phone way worked for me. Also is the old computer off (and/or Office uninstalled already?), and/or not connected to the internet? I ask because the first time I tried I couldn't do it because the old computer was still sending signals home that Office was still active/being used. So make sure it's gone from the old computer first, and you should be able to install the key on the new one.

The way it worked for me was I installed Office (while the old computer was off), and tried to activate it, and got the message I couldn't, so then I used the phone activation because I guess it tried to ping the old computer to find if it was still on/active, and didn't find it, so it activated it on the new one.
