cursor flicker excel

hello all,

I use this site a lot, It always has the answer but after an hours I can not find the solution to the cursor flickering in excel.

OS build 19043.1288

Finally upgraded to 10 after being forced by turbo tax and schwab, I fixed most of the annoyances with the help of this forum but i can not stop the cursor flicker. It only happens after I type a value in a cell. If I move to the ribbon "pointer" or select another cell I can make it stop. If i type again it flickers.

Very hard to concentrate.

Hi,

Try to toggle the Mouse properties / Mouse pointer Options / Hide Pointer While Typing. To off

Also in / pointers / Scheme, select another Scheme, apply it, Revert to the one you want, Apply it back.

Verify in the customize section for corrupted cursor, If there is run sfc /scannow from an admin prompt.

You can also disable / pointers / Allow themes to change mouse pointers /.
