    Editing and Saving Office Files

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I am unable to open an existing Office file, edit and save it. I get popup messages saying that I don't have administrator permissions. I am logged in as administrator. Also, I'm told that the files are Read Only, yet when I check the file properties they are not set to Read Only. Can someone help me resolve this?

If you can create, save, and then open new Office documents, then it's probably the case that the permissions on your existing documents are messed up. Right click one of the existing Office documents and go to Properties and then to Security tab. Highlight your user name in the list at the top. What are your permissions?
