They gave me a workaround for going back to Current Channel on Outlook, but I opted to stay status quo so they can watch what happens with my email/outlook.

I got another reply from Microsoft on the Can't Move issue:
Also, both I and the OP on the issue are sticking with the Beta.Thank you for opening the ticket and bearing with us while we investigate the issue. Something frustrating for us is that we do not have an internal repro for this issue yet. Similar to your findings I only see support cases with version 14014.20002. Version 14021.20000 is starting to roll out now at 25% of Beta. You will get that version shortly and I expect it will have the same issue.
Once we get any traction I'll post back to update when the fix will go out.
So, maybe we'll have a fix pretty soon. The support team got trace logging from one of the reported cases and have escalated a bug to the Outlook Team.
OK, so Base would be from wlr@outlook.com. I checked that out and it asked if I really want to move Useful Info there. So, I backed off.
Here are a couple links I found about creating additional folders.

How to Create New Folders to Organize Mail in Outlook
Instructions from both links show how to create a new folder under Inbox. I'm pretty sure that's why I did it that way.
I never saw this post because I've not been looking for new threads here at 10F. Glad you got this reported in, Wynona. If any of those links are for the feedback app, I'll add in my own $0.02 to the reports as well.
*Particularly* since at least 3 of my accounts have 0 additional folders other than what Outlook.com / Outlook (the program) set up in the first place.
We have a fix!
I got a notice that the issue has been fixed around 8:30 this morning!
What started out as something I thought I did wrong turned out to be a bug in the latest Beta version of Outlook. The Outlook Team identified the issue and made a service change last evening that should mitigate the issue. If you are still seeing the issue, restart Outlook a couple times for it to pick up the service change. Thank you for submitting tickets and working through the issue while we investigated it.
I am now able to move my Genealogy emails to my Genealogy folder, etc.!
I am now a Happy Camper and will mark this thread solved!
