Great work Wynona. What would MS do without you?
Thanks, I should look at new posts more often lol. Sorry!
I managed to not get involved like I usually do - I love rantingtoat them when they break something.
But I've been evaluating a couple of desktop apps for email, including Thunderbird and GMail for desktop, so I was able to archive email in those programs easily, and didn't need to rant.
I just got the Beta update to 14026.20000 and was able to save a Genealogy email to my Genealogy folder. Everything is good!
It still has its issues, but I have so many accounts that I have to monitor every now and again, particularly from my 4 G-Suite Workspace accounts, that doing it all in any one place it getting old. Really old.
I have accounts that are used only for administration in the G-Suite Workspace accounts, so I figured having them in an app would be great. And I've started using GMail for the Desktop for my non-workspace accounts (read: regular Google accounts), so that leaves me with Outlook for the regular G-Suite accounts, and work stuff.
Thunderbird - meh. It's there. It makes using profiles a lot more easily than Outlook does - no having to restart, and I can start a profile at any time by [SHIFT] + click on the taskbar icon (with the shortcut properties having a -p added to program path so it always open the profile manager). So, yeah, a *lot* easier than shutting down Outlook and switching profiles. In fact, with Tb I can have multiple profiles open simultaneously, which is a huge bonus, as I created separate profiles for all the G-Suite workspace accounts.
It does have its idiosyncrasies, but I've managed to work around most of them. I'm currently working with a developer from GitHub who's managed to create an Add-on for Tb that synchronizes your GMail signature to Thunderbird directly, so that is promising. Even works with Advanced Protection for Google accounts / G-Suite accounts being enabled - major plus.
I've yet to start exploring the Lightning add-on for calendar, yet, but I also rarely use the Outlook calendar either - I mostly stick with my phone or a web browser for calendar stuff.
Interesting - mine started working on 14021.20000, when I reported it yesterday.... Wonder if it was a server side issue? But probably not as it was happening on both Exchange accounts, Outlook.com accounts and G-Suite accounts....
I must not be understanding Profiles, since I can have multiple email addresses in Outlook 365 such as nlr@hotmail, wlr@outlook, nlr@gmail, etc. I can read each set of emails, move back and forth between them, and whatever else I need to do.

Oh, mine started working properly in 14021.20000 too; I was just leary of a new Beta so close. I wasn't expecting another one for a week or so.![]()
I have 4 domains that I own, each with a variety of emails. Those 4 domains add up to 17 email addresses alone that I need to have a watch over. I then have 3 regular Google accounts as well.
It's a lot easier to keep each domains emails separate from others through profiles. Trying to maintain 17-20 email addresses in all the same place is simply impossible.
Lol - I don't have to imagine - I actually tried to do it with just one domain and 2 regular Google accounts. it was fine when I only had to monitor 2 accounts in the domain. But as things progressed, I had to add 2 more accounts, meaning 6 in the same profile. It got ugly fast.
