Office Context Menu

Hello guys !! Since i have installed office 2019 (in August) i had find a way via registry to remove all "create new...." category in context menu expect new folder and new text document including office documents and it's working fine expect the access (pic 1) and whatever i do keeps coming back. Every time i deleted the ShellNew folder in registry (pic 2) it's working but after some days it comes back, it's like hunting me

I have a .reg file (pic 3) that removes all office context menus. Can someone tell me if its another way to do that or something else to get rig of that annoying thing ?? Thanks in advance !!

Maybe I didn't write clearly. I don't want to remove "new folder" and " text document" these two are only that I want to have, but I have a problem with the "create new access database" (pic 1) I have removed all office context menus including access but this one (access) it keeps coming back after some days. I can't get rig of this thing.

The numbers in your diagram
.12
.16
indicate that you are dealing with both Office 2007 [.12] & Office 2016 [.16].

I think you need to check the keys for both Versions and add them to your .reg file.

I have a similar .reg file - I only leave New Folder, Shortcut, Text document & WinZip Zipx file in my context menu. Mine is simpler than yours because I only have to worry about Office 2007 Registry keys.

The version I have is the 2019, I don't know why the numbers is .12 and .16. I had found several tutorials for the 2019 and all was the same as mine. Even in the program files says office16. It's all fine and the .reg it's working fine too, but after some time somehow the ShellNew folder (pic 2) in the registry automatically recreated itself. That's the problem I have.

1 I suggest you look in the Registry within the Key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xlsx
for a SubKey
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xlsx\Excel.Sheet.16\ShellNew
or even
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xlsx\Excel.Sheet.19\ShellNew

then do the same in the Word & PPT entries.

2 I do not have a note of the relevant numbering for Office 2019. My list only goes up to Office 2016. For all I know, Office 2019 also uses the numbering within the Registry of .16. But .12 is quite definitely a reference to Office 2007.

I don't know why the numbers is .12

3 Didn't you write that .reg file yourself?

I wrote the .reg by myself but i did copy paste the lines from a tutorial site. Anyway i decided to reinstall the whole office 2019 suite and i will keep watching if that folder in registry (ShellNew) will re created itself. I will update this thread in a few days.
