multiple versions of office?

i have wreaked havoc on my system by trying to have multiple versions of office installed.

i would like:
word 2003, word 2016
excel 2016
powerpoint 2016
outlook 2007

for most of it, i'm ok, but outlook gives me problems. outlook 2016 search does not work at all, and on ol 2007 only the contact search works. further, if i use the nk2 editor, it always opens the file for 2016, not the 2007 that i'd like to use. reinstalling ol 2007 from a standalone file doesn't help.

are the office 2016 programs available separately, not the whole office?

win10 version 10.0.18363 Build 18363.

Can't give you much but will say I have Office 2013 on my main Desktop and a Notebook, Office 2010 on another Desktop and another Notebook plus Office 2000 on another couple of Notebooks. Office 2007 change the file formats and previous versions can't open them, 2003, 2002/XP and 2000 needed the addition of a Compatibility Pack to open the files that have the x added to the extension such as .docx, .xlsx, etc. Used to be the individual programs were available, this link has the new Outlook but may have to shop around to find the older:

If having the software/disc with Product Key for the older might be able to do a Custom install choosing only Outlook. The only time I installed Outlook by itself was when Microsoft released Outlook 98 to replace Outlook 97 [due to problems]. With Office 2000 I do the Custom leaving out Outlook [have seen some compatibility issues with Win10].

I did run into issues when the 64-bit version of Office 2010 came out, in upgrading from 2003 had to remove FrontPage as there was an incompatibility between 32-bit and 64-bit.

Does Control panel, Progs & features, Office 2016, right-click allow you to 'change'? If so you might be able to uninstall Outlook 2016.

Didn't mention this but it may be necessary with programs to alter Preferences or Options in them to point their default storage locations to a different folder from others that can use the same files, to use a distasteful term in this day and age of segregating them.
