    Can a sketchy Exchange/Outlook user provoke this bounce back message?


    Hello guys,

    I am currently doing business with a very sketchy individual (who is working for a huge corporation).

    This sketchy situation happened multiple times:

    Let's say that they know I have to send them a very important email just after 5PM. At 4:50PM my colleague sends them an unimportant email and the email reaches them correctly. However, when I get to send my important email at 5:01PM, it bounces back and I get this message:

    Let's say the user doesn't have admin privileges. What's the trick they do to provoke this message within minutes?

    If this sketchy individual is running his own email server then he can deal with incoming mail how ever he desires.

    To be clear: The individual is working for a huge corporation. The corporation is using Microsoft Exchange/Outlook. The individual doesn't have admin access.

    Well, if this happens seldom, there is possibility that quota has been reached. For further options, you have to check conditions to get this answer from server..

    Cause

    This issue occurs when any of these conditions is met:

    The organization's default public folder post quota (DefaultPublicFolderProhibitPostQuota) has been reached.
    The individual public folder post quota (PublicFolderProhibitPostQuota) has been reached.
    The Content Public Folder mailbox hosting the mail-enabled public folder has reached its quota.
    Not really an expert about configuring exchange...
    If I would want to play with a single user, I would try to redirect his messages to a folder that is full. Not sure if this is enough, but could try
