Outlook 2010 (Not Exchange) Tasks are not visible in To Do list

Outlook 2010 (local, NOT Exchange), Win 10 64

The To Do list displays but it is empty. I don’t think this is a setup issue. Neither flagged emails nor tasks show up. Been this way for years, but need the To Do list now.

but could be it won't work, unless Cached exchage mode" is selected in settings

Received help from another forum. It WAS a set up issue with Advanced View settings.
