Everytime I load Microsoft Word 2010 it has to run a Configuration, I've never had this on any other PC, and only happens with Word, not any other office programme. It also mentions about a font and whether or not I am allowed to install it, should it be doing this and is there any way to stop it?
For the reconfiguration problem, run the command
This command is taken from Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus configures each time you start - KB2528748Code:reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
I know nothing about the font problem but perhaps it is just a symptom of the configuration problem and will go away when that is resolved.

I'm glad it's resolved.
I assume that fixing the reconfiguration problem also made that font error go away.

It did indeed, Word now loads up straight away without any messages at all.
