    Win 10 upgrade caused Complete Change to Word appearance


    Hi All,
    Came back home from 5 weeks in hospital to find recent win 10 upgrade (I assume) completely changed the look my desktop layout and many programs including Word 2007. Instead of being the origianl pale blue layout it is now a harsh black and white. Its odd because when I click on the top left icon the small pop up window shows the original style of the program. Any suggestions to revert it back please its driving me crazy

    Installed RAM 12.0 GB

    Hi, do you perhaps somehow have high contrast mode enabled?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the advice, unfortunately it did not help as I was unable to change some of the preference settings. I think the upgrade messesd up my themes so I reinstalled a new one and it seems to be behaving as normal now.

    Just a note, the twice-yearly Version Upgrades can mess up customizations. I make sure to save any downloads to make it easier to set up future Upgrades.
