microsoft 365 installing office pro plus 2019

Hello, I have registered for a free trial of microsoft 365 about 3 days ago and I used the installer in my microsoft account to download microsoft 365 but when I use the online installer, it installs microsoft office 2019 pro plus instead of Microsoft 365 and it even looks a little different I dont have the white ribbon like most microsoft 365 users have. Why is this and How can i get an official microsoft 365 which looks like what most tutorials on youtube when they are using the latest version of microsoft 365. Thanks

When you say that you do not have the white ribbon, what do you have in place of the ribbon? Could you include a screenshot of that portion of the screen?

The only way that's happening is if you got the wrong download file. The correct Office 365 file would not be installing Office 2019. That just doesn't happen.

Also when you go to install the trial version, you'll be required to sign into a (your) Microsoft Account. You can also check the Office version by opening any Office document, clicking "File" and opening Account. That'll tell you what Office suite you have installed.

I do not understand why all of yours says microsoft 365 and mine says "Microsoft office Professional Plus 2019". I have uninstalled these office apps using advanced uninstaller pro 13 and also using iobit uninstaller to make sure complete deletion of leftover files and then restarted twice and re-installed the microsoft 365 installer I downloaded from my Microsoft account but still it says office pro plus 2019. I think there is something on my computer from previous versions that is interfering with this version. Should I uninstall all microsoft products instead? Please see the below pictures.

That's odd. Did you have Office 2019 installed before trying Office 365?
