    Outlook send/receive problem

I am running Office 2016 on my desktop Windows PC. Windows recently upgraded itself to version 2004. Since then I have been having intermittent problems with Outlook. When I boot-up, open Outlook, and do a send/receive, it always works perfectly. After being open for some time, it will start to give me 0x8004210A errors for every email account that I have. I think I can still send but the problem seems to be on the receive function, I think. Re-booting the PC fixes the problem. It will also sporadically pop up the window to enter my password, but like I said, it always works when I start up. Ideas?

    Try this:

    1. Right click on Windows button and select "Windows PowerShell (Admin)"
    2. If prompted for password, enter administrator password and click "Yes" to continue
    3. Run command:
    Code:
    Clear-DnsClientCache
Settings -> System -> About -> Advanced System Settings -> computer name -> Network ID -> This is home computer...

    Click OK and restart computer.

    Problem resolved

My initial post was incorrect. My Outlook problems started on my desktop computer when it updated itself to Windows version 20H2. I did finally resolve the problem by flushing the DNS.
