I would like my pictures to be the same size when copying them eg 12mm x 12mm rather then manually alter them everytime. I have seen File - Options - Advanced _ Image size but this changes the resolution and not the size.
Any ideas! I am using windows 10 version 2004 and Office 365
I'm afraid it doesn't work like this.
Word will automatically adjust size to page margins, if resolution is good enough.
If you want fixed (insert or copy?) size, you should set default resolution (like you mentioned) and resize pictures in some other program, so that picture ppi and desired size matches. But you will probably loose some quality.
It is easier to resize pictures in Word (right click on it and resize)
Assuming that pictures are rectangular in shape then don't know if you can fit 'rectangular' pictures into a 'square' 12 x 12mm. Seems to me that part of the pictures will get cropped?
