How do I Create a Group Contact List in Office Outlook 365?

I have searched high and low for a way to create a group contact list in Outlook, but so far, I'm coming up empty. I have the latest Microsoft Office Family & Student.

For now, I have my group of contacts saved in a Word document (contact;contact;contact) so I can copy and paste them into the To Section of an email, but that's a pain in the tookus.

I know there has to be a way, but so far, nothing I find will work.

    Help, please!

Unless I've misunderstood you, try this.

With the Mail Home view showing, drop down New Items, open More items, select Contact Group.

Alternatively in My Contacts Home view, New Contact Group is top left.

Then use Add Members as in, for example Outlook 2010, to build your contact group, previously called a Distribution List.

I readily accept that I may well have understood your question, hopefully not.

Thanks, Oscer. I think this is what I need.

Do you know if I can put a whole list in without having to put everyone in individually?

You understood me correctly, TPriest. I'll try this too.

Thanks, Jacee! All help appreciated. I think this may be exactly what I need, since I just subscribed to Microsoft 365, which I think is the latest version.

If they are all in your Outlook contacts already, they can each be added by a double click in the Add Members dialog. That will put them in the Members slot at the bottom of that dialog, then click OK and they'll appear in the Contact Group.

If they're not already in Outlook then you can import them from a CSV file, see

Thank you all for your help. Taking something from each of the links you gave me, I now understand a bit more fully.

I have now sent a test email to my group of contacts. This will be so much easier than grabbing a Word document, copying, and pasting into the To: section!

    Thanks again, folks.
