What I meant was as in the OP; open outlook in Admin mode, go to options/addins, com addins, select AdobePDFMaker, select remove, it looks removed, exit.
Yeah, you don't need to be in "admin mode". Just go to Manage add-ons from Options as shown in image 3, click "Go", and untick or "remove" what you don't want....

But as you said... that is how it should work. That said, I think your backdooring may be causing issues.

    Good luck.

Did you read the message? Outlook is saying there are multiple user on the PC using said add-in.

Anyway, I'll leave you be to figure it out.

    Peace:)

Yes, I read it(!) - but interpret it as saying it is installed for all users, and only admin can change that configuration option, which it appears to do, but not really...
(There is really only one user on the machine (other than admin), me & admin logins are all that there area.))

So you did registry changes and obviously issue still persists?

Fine, I open Outlook as administrator, go to the com addins, select and remove that addin, but it is not removed when I re-open Outlook as a user, and I have to then again manually disable it.
How do you open Outlook as an admin? It is probably not enough to be logged in as an 'admin level' acct - you may need to rt-click on Outlook.exe and select 'run as admin' - and do that for each user.
