Word and Excel program tools print is very small

I am running windows 10. When I open Word or Excel, the tool bars show up in extremely small print. Is there any way that I can enlarge the tool bar display? The build number is 18362.959

    VanGoGan, welcome to TenForums!

Is it only Office apps that are showing up with portions of the program (the toolbar in this case) showing extremely small print?

If the problem is occurring in other places as well then it may simply be the settings that you have for the screen scaling.

Try this: Right-click on the desktop and choose "Display settings". Under "Scale and layout", make sure that the display resolution is set to the recommended size (when you click the drop-down, one of the values will show "Recommended").

Under "Change the size of text, apps, and other items", select a higher number to increase the size of elements on the screen. Note that after changing this, you should log off and back on again for best results.

You might also want to look at the compatibility settings for your Office apps specifically by looking at the following tutorial, especially if you are running on a high DPI monitor:

Change Compatibility Mode Settings for Apps in Windows 10

If this doesn't help, could you provide a little more detail?

This is what I would be interested in knowing:

    1) Are only Office apps affected by this issue?
    2) What version of Office?
    3) What is your display size and resolution?
    4) Is it only the toolbar that is affected?
    5) Could you provide a screenshot with the Office toolbar showing and some other app that is not affected by this issue also open on the same screen for a visual side-by-side comparison?

    Thanks!
