How bring over all Word 2007 settings into a new Win10

Our old Win7 with Office 2007 crashed and we bought a new Win10 Home and newly installed Office2016
We have a rescued/restored copy of the 2007 hard drive

How can we retrieve all the old Word 2007 settings such as printing 3 column labels into Office2016/Word in the new Win10?

You're going to have to do those setting from Word. Windows has nothing to with how Word is setup. As for how to do that with Word, I've no idea as I use Office 365.

    Good luck.

As you have already installed MS Office 2016, you have therefore installed ALL the defaults settings. MS Office 2016 is a totally separate entity to the Win 10 OS.

I did however, spend a little while looking and found this for you which may be of some use! . . .

How to migrate Microsoft Office settings?.

    I hope this helps!

Are you using the Avery brand of labels? Word should have a template for them or maybe something from Avery. I keep WordPerfect around as it has always been easier to use for Labels and Envelopes, don't have to use MailMerge to do it.

It is not Windows 10 or indeed Word settings that you need it is Templates or a Document that has used the Template whether that was a customised one or Avery label sheet or whatever.

Even if you lost the Template concerned you can get it again from one of the Documents based on it, assuming you have one left.
Simply delete whatever info was on the Document labels should leave you with a suitable Template of the labels layout etc.

Put another way the settings you require are in the Template or Word Documents.
Those you can open in the new version of Office 2016.
