Word and Word documents won't open properly

    Seems the problem is now sorted and all working fine now. I do wonder how/ why Word was opening on my closed second monitor and invisible to me. If it hadn't been for my screengrab I'd still be trying to work it out. Interestingly, the problem seemed to arrive just after I'd allowed the Windows update - I usually set these updates to occur 7 days after their release. Maybe a coincidence, but guess I'll never know.
