Reinstalling MS office 2019 click to run after clean install of window

I have windows 10 home 2004 in my laptop with update from 1909. I have bought MSOffice 2019 and installed in this machine. If I clean install windows 2004, how shoul I proceed to install MSOffice 2019 back.

If you indeed clean installed Windows, there should be no trace of a prev version of Office to interfere with Office 2019 installation. If you do not need all the features, simply check off just the ones you'll be using. The others can be installed any time later, your choice.

I have done a clean install of windows and office 2019 a couple of times without any problems.
During the install of Office 2019 it will ask for an activation key. When i enter the key i get the message "This key has allready been used" (first time i installed it). At this step i usually click "back" and Office activates itself by recognising my MS-account.
I should mention that i have windows set up with a MS-account.

    Hi there

OK you've fixed it - but this also works too - especially if you use Windows with a Local (i.e non Ms account /sign in).
If you have the iso / img of your original purchase / install --simply re-install again and then apply updates.

Not sure what do do in other cases though. Also for a new install its possible you might have to enter product key again / re-activate.

I have the iso's so not a problem.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the response.

Finally I clean installed windows 10 - 2004. Then I installed Office 2019. It asked for login with microsoft account. I did All went fine. It was activated after I restarted the windows.

I thought I would add a solution to this crash of the installation of 2019. It was driving me crazy. I tried everything and anything I could think of but it kept failing. I even installed mulitple releases of windows 10. Then I duplicated the error on a completely different desktop and got the same problem....It turned out for me to be the user name of the admin account I used for the install. There was a space in the user name. I created a new admin account of 8 characters and no spaces and presto it ran okay. I know there are many variables out there and hardware flavors so this may or may not work for everyone...I teuly hope this post helps you out
