I have a subsciption to Micrrosoft Office Personal and wish to install it in a second pc (my wifes pc) but I do not wish my Outlook email account to be seen in my wifes laptop and I do not wish to see my wife's Outlook emails on my pc.
If I share my Office 365 Personal account on a second laptop will the other person see my Outlook account emails or can the other person have their own Outlook email account separate to mine?
As I understand the installation one is not sharing data between computers, only the program being installed from the download. Unless one is networking 2 or more computers and maybe have drives Mapped for data sharing.
With a subscription you are usually able to install on more than one device. Not sure if you got the version that is for one pc or five pc's.
If it is the multi version then you need to sign in your your subscription on her machine, download the software and sign in to activate. Then sign out of Office.
Then go settings > accounts > email and accounts and if your account is there remove it. Wish MS would give us the option to add rather than just adding.
Next start Outlook and setup your wife's account(s).
I know this works, I have it set up this way with my wife's machine.

This is for someone else not for me. The version he has is Microsoft Personal which is for one user not the Family version which is up to six users.
As I understand it with the Personal Version if it is installed on more than one pc then Outlook will show the same email accounts on all pcs' on which it is installed. I know this because I have my own Personal Version installed on my three pcs' using the same Microsoft Office account.
O365 Personal cannot be shared. It can be installed on unlimited number of devices, but it must be activated with the same subscriber Microsoft account on each device.

However, the activation Microsoft account email does not have to be added to Outlook. A fully valid and functional example:
- User A subscribes to O365 Personal
- User A installs and activates O365 on his / her laptop
- User A adds his / her email accounts to Outlook
- User A installs and activates O365 on User B's laptop
- User B adds his / her email accounts to Outlook
The point is, that the O365 Personal subscriber email is required to activate Office on each device, but it don't have to be added to Outlook. In above example, both User A and User B add only their own email accounts to Outlook, and cannot see each other's accounts and emails.

The reason I am asking these questions are that two individuals are buying two new laptops and would like to share one Microsoft Office 365 Personal.
A has a subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal already and wants to share the same account with B.
I have installed Microsoft Office 365 Personal in a second pc B and when launching Outlook all my email accounts from A were loaded. So, I cannot figure out how to install Microsoft Office 365 Personal in a second pc so that my email accounts A are not loaded.
This raises more questions for me.

- And most importantly is this even legal or in breach of contract as Microsoft Office 365 Personal is for one user only?
According to license agreement, O365 Personal is only for personal use. Although it can be installed on unlimited number of computers, they should all be yours. To share O365, you should upgrade to O365 Home, which includes 6 licenses (subscriber can share with 5 other people).
My dilemma: As O365 Personal can be installed on unlimited number of devices, the scenario I outlined in my earlier post that you quoted is in deed possible, both User A and User B only seeing their own emails, and Office being activated on both devices. I have tested this and I know that it can be done, quite easily in fact.
But, it is of course unethical. O365 Personal is, as name says, intended for personal use, whereas O365 Home is meant to be shared with friends and / or family.
I need to ask Ten Forums admins @z3r010 and @Brink, if I am allowed to show you how what you are asking can be done. I they say we cannot publish such instructions, I will not do it. Their reply will tell if I will tell you "Sorry, no", or if I will post exact instructions.
