Well the last time I did this, last March, it was clear cut. I had just installed a new desktop. Logged into account, selected product, it had already been used, clicked download.

Of course I was using the non subscription product.

Would really like to hear what product was bought.

    Newegg link

    Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 | 1 Device, Windows 10 PC/Mac Key Card - Newegg.com

says Office Home and Student 2019 1 device Windows 10 PC/Mac Key Card

Not from Newegg direct; from a reseller.

As far as I know, there is no other variation for "Home and Student" Office 2019 one time license, no subscription.

It may be that you have to log in to some MS account to even be shown the link, but that isn't stated in an ordinary declarative sentence either.

    As per my post #7

    Microsoft Office Home & Business 2019 | One-time purchase, 1 device | PC/Mac Keycard - Newegg.com

Says right in description, one time purchase and you can see the price. They've price so you go subscription but if you want they will accept your money.

    Ken:

As I understand it, he has already paid and received what he bought: a Product Key for a one time license, non-subscription.

He has the key card with the Product Key in his possession. It's likely a piece of cardboard with a number.

He needs the download link proper and apparently can't find it.

    Can you find it?

    I could not.

The Office 365 subscription (I know you don't prefer subscription, but I find it so convenient), makes it super easy to download an ISO image. When you logon to office.com and choose to download you will see this screen:

MS Office 2019 Home & Student - storable as an ISO file?-imagea.jpg

Click on "Other Options" and you will see the option to download an offline installer like this:

    Thanks for the screen shots.

Not really arguing but I don't know that OP bought a onetime license or a subscription.

I really don't think there is a link per say. You go to office.com (the actual site will be on card, might be office.com/setup), login and type key. Then you get panels, hopefully like one above.

Would be interesting to understand what subscription panels OP is seeing. If asking for credit card it almost for sure a subscription package.

I should clarify, the OP may have bought a one time license, the link in first posts suggests this, maybe newegg shipped wrong box?

    Dave:

Do you have a so-called Microsoft account?

If yes, have you logged into that account and only then tried to find the link to the download you need?

It may be that you can't even see the download unless you are "logged in" to a formal Microsoft account.

That appears to be the case - and what is more, the account has to have already been associated with the purchased (but not yet installed) product. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...rs=en-us&ad=us

This means that people like me can't even test the process for Dave.

Interesting. I went into my Microsoft Account, I was signed into my mail, and my subscription was there but that is not the way I traditionally access it.

I usually go to office.com and sign in, same credentials.

This is the websire I use whether it is first time install or additional installation. one time purchase or subscription.

I think it says right on the license key card the address to use.

    Downloading office

There is another way and that is to use the Office Deployment Toolkit and use the configuration files with it to download the installation files. Then you can create an ISO from them.

    e.g.
    cd d:\Office
    Setup /download configuration-Office365-x86.xml
