    Microsoft 365

I have been using Outlook 2007 for years ( Standalone version). I have many mail folders and sub-folders that I use on a daily basis. I also have Office 2007 home & Student that I got on eBay (legit).
I am thinking of getting Microsoft 365 for 1 person subscription yearly. $69.99 is a great price to pay every year for the latest version.
My question is if I install Microsoft 365, will I still have the exact same folder structure in Outlook?
Does Microsoft 365 Outlook use a .pst file and can I use my Outlook 2007 .pst file as I back-up that file daily?

    Hi

Don't think you will have any issues. I use Office 365 ( 5 pack) and yes I have a pst file.

I did not make such a large jump, 2007 - 2019 (Office 365) but I have not seen anything that says the layout of the PST has changed.

    I went from Outlook 2013 to 2019 (Office 365).

With the new outlook, account setup has been automated which frustrates some, it seems to default to IMAP.

You can still setup manually if required, some still want POP.

Of course with a PST you are responsible for backups. Just an article on default PST locations by versions.

Where Are My Outlook PST Data Files, and How Can I Move Them Somewhere Else?

You likely already have a spot in mind. Always a good idea to backup PST before doing anything with a new version.
