Do you want to pay ONCE, when you buy it?
Or are you willing to pay on a subscription basis, similar to a cable TV bill?
If you have a bunch of PCs, the subscription method might be preferable, particularly if you want some other Microsoft services, like on-line storage space.
If you have only one or two PCs, maybe not.
Hello and thank you for your Reply i have 2 PC and several tablets and mobile devices , but i use my main PC and my tablet and mobile device on a regular basis , i also i have 5 different MS Email account for for different encounters and i would like to bring them all over to either 365 or office 2019 i would prefer to pay once but i understand the i might have to do a subscription basis,, the best option for bring all of my 5 Email account to one place would be preferable
Thanks in advance
Office 2019 begins at about $150 direct from Microsoft. That's for 1 PC, pay once and never again. Occasionally cheaper. It was 130 last Thanksgiving from Newegg--a legal version.
You'd have to research to find out the price and details for Office 365.
I have no idea as I don't want a subscription. I think it might be yearly billing.
Hello and Thanks for your Reply i dont fancy paying 150 to Microsoft for office 2019 , i believe i can find it for Cheaper than that and a legal version to boot i will probable got with 365 a year subscription is not to bad
Thanks in advance
With office365 you can share it with friends and family members. This might allow you to split the cost across a couple of people.
Office365 has been renamed to Microsoft 365. The family cost is either $9.99 per month or $99.99 a year. Also, keep in mind the office apps you have access to. If you purchase the Office Home and Student 2019 standalone version you get Word, Excel and Powerpoint. If you purchase MIcrosoft 365, you get Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access (PC version only) and Publisher (PC version only).
If you want the full office suite for home like you get with Microsoft 365, you can purchase that as well. It's $439. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/micr...%3aoverviewtab
As others mentioned, if you buy MIcrosoft 365, for $99 a year, you get all of the installs of Office you want, as well as access to 1TB of OneNote space for each users, and you get 6 users. So, effectively you get 6TB of cloud storage space. If you are into cloud storage this makes Microsoft 365 a no-brainer.
As for having all your MS Email accounts in one place MS Office Outlook will let you set them all up no problems regardless of Version. I have several that I use for different projects also and have no issues using Office desktop Outlook for both POP and IMAP email account it uses MS Exchange for all MS account regardless of extensions. Runs Gmail also not sure about Yahoo or any others but pretty sure it will work with all.
I like owning my own hard copies of Office and have no use for Cloud Sync or any of that kind of stuff with 365 but that is my personal preference.
Hello Everyone and Thanks for all the feedback, i think i will opt for Microsoft 365. once again thanks to everyone for helping me to making my decision
Thanks
Hello Everyone well i am back again, i am having issues with my outlook cannot connect to server, i thought i fixed it yesterday, but its not connecting again today , i have reset the network, windows keeps asking for passwords for my outlook account, and i am sure the passwords are correct i would like to make sure everything is working before i make a purchase of 365 ,
Thanks in advance
PS i also keep getting this error code Error code 0x800704cf
First off... Are you on a local or Microsoft account for your PC?
With that, that error code is usually associated with Network issues. Try a Network Reset - Reset Network Adapters in Windows 10
