    Outlook 2016 Version number 2004 Build 12730.20236 search issues.


    I have two users that have not been able to search their mailboxes since this update (Outlook 2016 Version number 2004 Build 12730.20236) was released. Has anyone ran into this issue and been able to solve it yet?

    Hi, I have A LOT of users affected by this. I think MS is aware of this and working on the issue. Who knows how long it will take to resolve though. Hopefully pretty soon.

    Ok, I received a registry edit work around for this. This key may get removed if Office is updated, so you may need to add it every time the end-users office is updated.

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Search]
    "DisableServerAssistedSearch"=dword:00000001

This probably can't be done anyway :( In any Outlook email that contains a hyperlink , if you right click it you have a few option. Select, Open, Copy and Who is. none of the functions of Outlook have ever been stored in the registry AFAIK and...
