(WORD) Can I change the format of already-entered dates?

    (Win 10 ver. 1903, OS Build 18362.778)

I am trying to create a timeline for a fictional setting based on the real world, and I have two questions concerning that

I originally started making the timeline in Excel 365, but there were limitations that irked me, like not being able to change the cell padding, and not being able to use bookmarks or create an index, so I pasted it into a Word 365 document instead. But now, I'm missing one of the Excel 365 features; automatic date format. These are my questions

    1) Is there any way to convert the format of existing date data in a TABLE? I can only find instructions online for setting the date format and inserting Today's Date, and that's of no use to me, since I'm working with dates in the past. I tried looking in "Find & Replace", but couldn't see anything that would obviously accomplish that. If there is a way to bulk-convert highlighted date data into a different format in Word 365? I would appreciate learning it if there is one

    2) is there a way to set an automatic format for dates in a single column of a Word 365 Table.

I fear that it might end up requiring using the Word VBA Compiler to accomplish it, and I'm basically a cave-man when it comes to Virtual Basic.

Please help me if you can, and thanks in advance for anyone who has a solution, or suggestions to try to find the solution.

Don't have real idea how to change them all at once, but you can insert individual Dates with Date picker control , and change its formatting later
You'll find that under Developer tab (you can show it, if it is hidden at the moment)

Yes. Thank-you. I found that, but it only inserts Today's date, and as I indicated, I don't want today's date inserted. I want already-entered dates in the past reformatted to one of the Word date formats, and, if possible, a way to set an entire column of a Word 365 table to automatically format date data entered into that specific format.

If you want entire column of table with dates, copy and paste them, but it won't auto advance to the next day.. like in Excel

Ah. Thank you very much. I guess I'll have to just format the dates that are B.C.E. manually :P
