How do i set a table cell to autofill?

Hi TenForums community, I currently have a task at hand and i'm not too sure how to solve it.
How do i set a table cell to autofill?-screenshot_1.jpg

I would like to automate the rightmost column on the RISK Ratings based on Likelihood and Impact.

For example, under Risk 1, if i were to click "rare" as the likelihood and "insignificant" as the impact both from their own dropdown lists, i would like the risk rating to be automatically filled as "Low" with reference to the colourful table above.

Another example would be if i chose Rare as Likelihood and Catastrophic as the Impact, i would automatically get back the risk rating of Medium on the rightmost column.

Thank you so so much to whoever may have the answer to help me with this task.. <3

Am using Windows 10, MS Word 2016.

    Spelling + clarity

I’ve never used Word to do this type of task, I’ve always used Exce,l so I don’t know if formulas work the same but assuming they do, here is how I would try to do it. You could use a series of tests using the IF....ELSE function. Such as, IF this = number AND that = number THEN the number risk rating cell = whatever, ELSE add the next condition here using another IF/AND/THEN series until you reach the lowest rating and then the result falls through to the lowest risk rating. There is a lot of help on the web for Excel formulas and Excel will also check your expressions as you enter them. If you cannot get them to work post them here and we can help you.

There is a very helpful forum for Microsoft Office. It can be found at Microsoft Office Forums - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project. You will likely find excellent expertise there for your problem.
