Onenote Scared me

Ok, I use onenote a lot on my system, and today of all days it told me all my notes where gone! Oh no...I quickly opened onenote on my iPhone and my notes are still there, umm. I then opened my onenotes from the webversion of onenotes and everything is there. More ummm.

I then opened onenote using the onenote app from the start menu and my onenotes were there. I then pinned that version of onenote to the taskbar, opened onenote and my onenotes were gone! I went back to the start menu, opened onenote, and all my onenotes are still there.

I then moved the onenote icon from the start bar to the desktop to create a shortcut, opened onenote from the shortcut and all my onenotes were there. I then pinned this shortcut to the taskbar, opened this newly pinned onenote...and you guessed right, all my onenotes were gone again, more ummm.

Anyway, onenote will not open the onenotes from the taskbar, but will work just fine if I open them from the start menu and or the shortcut on the desktop. Must of been an update...

Version 16001.12624.20042.0

Maybe there is an update.

Well, I did a Windows 10 update, it updated something...I didn't really pay attention and sure enough, it resolved my issue.
