WYSIWYG problem formatting envelopes in Word mail-merge

I'm trying to address some envelopes (8.5"W x 6"H) with addresses from an Excel spreadsheet. The merge works fine, and the placement of the text on the envelopes is fine inside the editing view. In Print Preview, however, while the text displays correctly an imported JPG is cropped. And, when I print a sample envelope, the text is offset to the left, even though I've told the printer (HP Color LaserJet) the envelopes will be loading from the center of the tray (and the JPG doesn't print at all). I realize these are probably two separate issues, but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Screen grabs attached (this is all on Windows 10 and Office 365).

Have you tried a different size or slightly altering the size to 61/4" x 81/2"?

    Yup. No difference.

I can push the address block to the right farther than it appears it should be, but it will print out in the correct place. It just seems like a kludge and I shouldn't have to. Plus, I still don't get the JPG to print, but that's not the end of the world.

I don't relish bad-mouthing a product but I have much better success with Envelopes and Labels using WordPerfect [been using it since Version 5.1 for Windows 3.1 back in '92] without using its mail merge.

I have no problem printing single envelopes with Word, but this project involves 120, so a merge is the only realistic way to do it. If you can't vouch for WordPerfect's merge I'm leery of digging into it and I'll just proceed with the Word kludge and skip the graphic.

The only reason I can't "vouch" for WordPerfect's MailMerge is I haven't used it since late '94 and the DOS version of WP 5.1 [what the boss lady/store owner wanted]. My first computer in '92 had the Windows version.
