No Earthlink Address Book for Earthlink, an Account under Outlook

For some reason when the Earthlink account was added to Outlook (Win10/Office 2019), it did not generate a separate address book called Earthlink. I do not see a way to add this feature. I use both Outlook and Earthlink email accounts for separate functions and want to eliminate the confusion of emails sent to Earthlink clients having an Outlook label. It appears that Earthlink emails are pulling address from the Outlook address book because there is not an independent address book for Earthlink. Any incite would be appreciated.
    Thanks

You have to export your Earthlink contacts in a format that can be imported into Outlook. Earthlink has that info ontheir mail site.

That is exactly what I did and it combined it with the outlook address book, it did not create an Earthlink Address Book.

That is how an import works.

Your best bet is to contact Earthlink and see if this is even possible with Outlook. It may turn out the Earthlink address book needs to be converted to a format Outlook can use - aka CSV format.

You might also see this: Earthlink Support Center - E-mail Setup/Configuration. I don't use Earthlink so I can't comment on the support page. I am however an Outlook user.

No Earthlink Address Book for Earthlink, an Account under Outloo

Well then explain this - On my desktop computer (Win10, Office 2013) a separate address book was generated when I added my Earthlink account to Outlook. So when I open the Outlook Address Book I see an Outlook address list, an Earthlink address list and an icloud (I also added my Icloud account) address list, all separate lists. Originally the earthlink address list was empty but I imported the earthink address book from another computer. The HP
all-In-One computer is running Win10, Office 2019, this is the computer I am having trouble with. Not sure if the problem is unique to Outlook 2019 or not. If you look at the Outlook email file structure under on the desktop unit you can see the earthlink email structure has a contact sub-folder. This is not the case in the All-In-One system. Only an outlook contact sub-folder is available. I was wondering how I can add a contact sub-folder.

I can't explain anything about Earthlink as I've never used it and barely heard of it. Sorry.

That said, I will say Microsoft has changed the way Outlook works and is configured over the years; so, yeah it is possible Outlook 2013 worked with Earthlink where 2019 won't or requires something different.

I've never used anything but Outlook contacts to manage my address book so I can't speak of importing anything outside of that. Even syncing my Samsung phone to Outlook, Outlook the master file.

You could have a look at this, but this is as close as I can get you - Address Book - Earthlink

BTW I googled - how to import earthlink address into outlook 2019
