When I try to use Microsoft Word I get a Runtime Error. All my documentation receives his message. How do I get rid of this error?

Thank you Samuria and Bree for answering my post. I deleted add-ons from registry. I typed winword and suddenly I'm back to word. How did this happen in the first place? I don't want to get a runtime error again?

Did this start after Windows updated to 1903 or 1909?

Word 2000 is very old and not officially supported in Windows 10. If your version of W10 has just been upgraded this may explain why the problem has just started.

I have some software of a similar age that had problems after a previous W10 upgrade. The solution in my case was to run the compatibility troubleshooter. I suggest trying the Windows XP setting.

    I've already tried that route?

Thank you, but I already tried that. Isn't there way to get rid of this problem? Nothing seems to work!

We'll need a Word 2000 user to join the thread, the oldest I have is Office 2003. I'll ask around......

We'd also need to know what version and build of Windows you have. Run Winver to find out.
