There is no email program associated to perform ... Please install ...

There is no email program associated to perform ... Please install ...-snap_2019.10.14_21h47m42s_001_.jpgI have been getting the message above for a few weeks on Outlook 2010. I have been looking online for solutions.
As I was reluctant to uninstall office I have tried a few other suggestions:
    - I have deleted outlook as client in the registry.
    - I have added a new client in the registry directing to mapi32.dll.
    - I tried a downloaded fix mentioned.

I tried to do a Office repair through the settings, but Office kept looking for files that were there but kept saying "Invalid path".
    No luck.

I then decided to install Office 2019 and uninstall 2010. Still the same message.

I am using Win10 1903. I do not and did not - before deleting outlook as client in the registry - have the option of setting Outlook as my default program in the settings.

What else can I do to get rid of this message?

Open Outlook, drag an email to your Desktop, right click it and choose Properties/General Tab/Change, choose Outlook and click OK.

Now you should have Outlook as an option in Default Apps.

Sadly I am still the annoying message that there is no email program associated as in post 1.
Any other ideas as to what I can do?

I get this message, when a PPC, I have been using for years without the message, is connected.

I have read, that the problem is, that the OS is looking for a 32 bit program rather than the 64 bit office.
If I uninstall office 2019 64 bit, will I loose the settings and installed email accounts?
