    Pasting an app password generated in the MS account seems to have resolved the login issue.

    The license validity usually starts from 60 days, and is automatically renewed jumping back to 60 days before it runs out. That's the way it works, no worries. Mine is through O365 Enterprise subscription, at the moment valid for 51 days, although I still have close to two years to go (yellow highlight in screenshot).

    The most important thing is that license status is shown as licenced (blue highlight):

    The app seems to be up to date. Apparently the security box wanted a MS account app password, not the regular password. Strange, but you never know with software.

    I have been watching this issue for the past month and almost every time I open an Office 365 app, it says "Sign in" at the top.
    The license information is unchanged:

    There are three family members that use this Office365 license. The issues happens with all of them.
    I am wondering, has anyone found a permanent fix for this?
