    Hi there
    "Wot's prob" !!!
Not sure though what the Beta stuff is

I've had around 5 copies (cheap) of Office 2019 -- all update perfectly with update and activate properly --- No "MAK, VL,KMS,CONVERT TO VL" activation loopholes --nothing on computer shows any of those methods there either.

Just because something is cheap doesn't mean its invalid. If a load of these keys were pirated Ms woukd soon block them - and there would be a lot of "nose" on the Interne about these products.

I would suggest in your case though with seller disappearing and references to Beta software that this to me sounds dubious in the extreme.

    Cheers

Can you check your license of Office 2016/19 if it has beta expiration or not? Office 2016 activated through internet for me.

    - - - Updated - - -

    For 64-bit:
    Code:
    cscript "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus
    For 32-bit:
    Code:
    cscript "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus

I would stop using it if Microsoft blocks them. But looking at the license description, it doesn't seem to have Vol, MAK or MSDN Retail mentioned, which, according to me, aren't meant for general consumers like me. Regarding the removal of the seller, that indeed sounds dubious.

Jimbo, look at the answer. Even with Office 365, there's Beta Expiration.

That Beta expiration may be due to the Office build being on latest Monthly Targeted Channel.

    Hi there
    Maybe or Maybe not

But there's no point in bringing extra "spurious" stuff into the equation --If It works legally --it works !!

I always remember one trip I had to Chennai => Loads of guys working there who probably knew computers backwards, inside out, top to bottom etc etc -- but they really had no level knowlege of "Top down" or basic "P.O.C" --proof of concept processing -- i.e if one wanted to design say a new piece of hardware for flying a plane -- they'd get bogged down into the knitty gritty of it --e.g "What does bit 128 on control block fiight gravity simulator switch" do rather than look at the overall process and then drill down -- OK clever guys but a whole world of frustration dealing with them though if you just wanted to design an idea walk through the basic science / idea AND THEN if it seems viable --pass it over to thoe guys !!!.

    Cheers

Sure thing. I should be happy/lucky that at least it is working fine for me.

Btw, do tell me one thing. I heard most of the online content would stop working for all the Office versions except Office 2019 in 2021. Is that true?

    Hi folks

Why are we still worried about that --didn't the whole planet die in 2012 (Mayan calendar) --but we're all still here !!!

In any case 2021 is ages off yet even if it were true --and I'm sure by then answers would have been got to the "alleged" problem.

BTW Blame all these problems on the Brits with "Brexit" --apparently some Brits think world will end at 23.00 GMT on Fri 31 Jan -- we shall see !!!

    Cheers
