After may update, Get Office is back and comes back after uninstall

I have a little mini computer I use for streaming videos from home network to kitchen. It works fine, but now Get Office is back after May update and it comes back from the dead every time I uninstall it.

Is there a way to permanently delete "Office" from windows 10? I don't need junkware running in the background with the 2gb of ram and 32gb of storage on this thing.

I'm not actually sure if this message should go in software or MS Office. I chose MS Office because it is technically MS Office I am trying to get rid of.

It is not running in the background. It not Junkware. It is just a shortcut for a quick link to download the installer.

Try looking in the notifications and actions area. You should be able to disable notifications for windows tips and various apps.

It will open a window after a while and show "Get office" or some stupid thing with the option to sign in. Usually behind my media player.

It is going to get reinstalled. The app is not doing anything other than running a task asking you if you would like to download Office. Nothing more. If you have your media player set to be a foreground task, yes that "Get Office" task will be a background task.

See this. All that it takes is a simple search not a rant to solve these things. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...-during-update
