    Reading pdf files in Word

    How can I use Word 2013 and Word 365 to open a .pdf file? If I right click on the .pdf file and choose Open With, no Word exist in the list.

    This is how you should do it apparently:
    Edit a PDF - Word

    Note this involves conversion of the pdf to a format Word understands. Word isn't a pdf editor in the true sense, so presumably doesn't register itself as potentially capable of handling pdfs. Thus the option isn't where you are looking.

    You may be able to force it to be by assigning Word as your default by browsing to it in the Open With list, and checking the box at the bottom.

    Choose Default Apps in Windows 10
