Office restart required?

    Office restart required?

I was just upgraded to Office 365 version 1907 by the automatic update. After installing, all my office apps tell me I must restart Office to apply my privacy changes. Unfortunately, nothing I do makes those messages go away, and I haven't been able to find anything that works by googling this. I have closed all Office apps and started them again, restarted my computer, even uninstalled Office and re-installed. As soon as I get the 1907 update, the problem comes back. I have made no changes to privacy settings and am not using an Insider build. I welcome any help!

    That's not it

Thank You, but that's not the problem I'm having. Office update has updated me to version 1907 - the latest mainstream release. The error message is "RESTART REQUIRED Restart Office to apply changes to your privacy settings." I have made no changes - this message started appearing after the update was applied, and I can't get rid of it.

Again, it is a known issue with Office going back several editions.

Perhaps I just don't explain myself clearly enough. Anyway, I finally found a solution - sign out of my office account, close all Office applications, and start Word (or any of the others) again. This reset the privacy settings dialog. After resetting my settings, the warning message was gone.
