    Customizing Outlook settings in Office 2019

    Our company is looking to replacing the soon to be EOL office 2010 with Office 2019 so I was following the tutorial available here (Custom install or change Microsoft Office with Office Deployment Tool) and using the Office Customization tool website on how to setup MAK, choose office program to install etc.

    The question is is it possible to pre-setup the outlook 2019 portion like back in office 2010 so it will auto create the exchange account based on logged in username & OST during first launch?

    Thanks for the reply but that isn't what I was looking for.

    MS office 2010 setup.exe has a built-in customizer where you specify the exchange server parameters. I am asking if Office 2019 has such similar setup

    Hi folks

    @JoKEraI

    See my post :

    Outlook - manual email accounts set up --classic screens again

    In the mail setup you can specify exchange server

    I don't have experience with exchange server but I think you can get to the setup from the example.

    Go to new account and then you'll see the exchange stuff

    Thanks to all the replies, it would seems like the option to pre-configure email settings in office setup is non-existence in Office 2019 unlike Office 2010 / 2013.

    Yes the options are there and Microsoft has changed how it is done, You have to change with the times and keep up on education. Plenty of resources out there on Amazon Kindle and the public library through Hoopla.

    2019/365 use OWA, which means migrating your Exchange server or moving everyone to 365.
