    clickable reminder and return email

    Hi All
    I like to create a scheduled reminder email to the tenant which includes a job the tenant needs to do on the rental property. This reminder should include a clickable confirmation so the tenant automatically emails back that he/she has done the job.
    Has anyone an idea how I could do this?
    TIA

    I would just remind myself and then schedule on my calendar to send a text message, then follow up with a phone call to the party. A robot type reminder would just fall to the wayside with how much we get inundated daily with robotic messages.

    I know what you mean as I turn off a lot of newsletters and stuff. Still, that is what we have these tools for. Just that we have to decide what is important and what not.
    It is the tenants responsibility and I just want to help avoid a costly fix-up for the tenant.

    Still keen to hear about what else I could do?

    Depending on the tenant, I would follow up any requests with a registered mailed copy of any legal document that they signed to agree on those duties if they have a history. With Outlook, you can utilize add-ins like Boomerang. https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA104379606?tab=Overview&utm_source=zapier.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=. Or just create a policy/automated reminder to be sent on certain dates. Just make sure to cover it in writing in the contract with the client, so that there is noheaid/she said.

    Here are three suggestions
    - Using Outlook VBA and the existing Tasks facility - How to create a recurring e-mail message in Outlook - MSDocs
    - Using Microsoft Flow - How do I send a recurring email on Outlook 365
    - Using a SperrySoftware addin to Outlook - Schedule Recurring Email for Office 365 {note that there is a free option for this addin}

    This would involve creating an active element in the email [something I have never even looked into let alone tried to do] and the tenant's email client might well strip them out automatically as a security risk.

    I suggest just including a request for a reply when the task has been completed or setting up a parallel recurring task for a week after the first one asking if the task has been done.

    @Try3 and all, thanks for your suggestions.
    It looks like it isn't really an option. So Ill try something simpler.
