    how to block ClickToRun from being restarted as a service

    Hello
    I intend to use Office 2019 pro plus only casewise on W10 pro. To get rid of the unwanted complexity of CLICKTORUN, I set set it in services to disabled. However, service is allways restarted by scripts in background and set to AUTOMATIC again.
    How can this be permanently disabled (=enabled manually when needed) respectivly the xml-files within common files\microsoft shared\clicktorun be tweaked to stop that nasty behaviour?

    @bro67
    that link ( or better Fix: Office 2019 - No MSI to install. How do I install it? - Spiceworks ) is in regard to office-installation/deployment.
    but the question is about stopping a running service on a windows-PC past installation - how to tweak to registry or auto-startet scripts

    yes ofcourse, but not needed and unwanted when office is not used ...

    just to make things more complicate:
    I started to trace down the problem by setting manually an event-view for clicktorunsvc - and learnd, that office2019 has altered something within the eventview-system of W10 - office-xml-handler now is locking the views-definition-file for the event, making the event-snap-in for user-defined views and after that the whole event-app crash. not nice.
