    Disable Junk Email Folder - Office365

    Currently using Office365. Does anyone know if its possible to completely disable the Junk Mail folder. Or, if it's possible to setup a rule on the Junk Email folder to push any/all emails to the inbox.

    Thanks, but I'm curious if this will work for Office365.

    @Wynona Yeah I was right - this solution doesn't look like it'll work for Office365.

    Hi there

    @D3LL
    @Wynona

    If you are using IMAP this method will work assuming the IMAP server will allow you to delete folders

    1) You need to use control panel and choose the app outlook 2016 - it's still called that. I'm using Outlook 2010 so it's just called mail but I have used outlook 2016 and it works the same - and also work on Outlook /365

    2)Now choose the account you want to edit and go to advanced. This little back door gets you back to the proper config screens instead of those rediculous "auto config" which only sort of work if you have a perfectly bog standard email account such as gmail - anything else with different passwords / servers for inbound / outbound email and you will end up going round in circles

    3) in advanced you can see folder list - you can add / delete / change name etc of folders -- you won't be able to do anything though with the basic inbox although you should be able to add delete etc subfolders within the inbox and depending on how the remote server is configured it might re-create a junk email folder -- worth a try anyway.

    Not sure how this would work on POP3 as I haven't used that for years. In theory should be the same.
    Also for Exchange servers -- I don't think you can do anything with those -- those are usually work / corporate email things so your I.T dept would normally control those.
